Trainee Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Selection Procedure

Bond Details:
- Selected candidates shall execute an indemnity bond of ₹5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) for serving the Company for a minimum period of 05 years from the date of joining or till superannuation/retirement, whichever is earlier.
- The bond amount shall be treated as liquidated damages in the event of premature resignation/separation during the bond period. No pro-rata relaxation, partial waiver, or proportional deduction for early exit shall be permitted.
- Upon nomination for Type Training, trainees shall also execute a separate Type Training Bond prior to commencement of training.
Training Period:
- Already a certifying staff (with B1/B2 authorization): 1 Month
- Already holding Aircraft License within AIESL capability: On getting relevant authorization or 12 months, whichever is earlier
- Others: 12 months
Reservation:
- Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Ex-servicemen applicable as per Govt. guidelines.
Placement:
- All personnel are likely to be based at any AIESL station during training period.
- Subsequent to endorsement of license, they can be posted at any base depending on company requirement.
Career Progression:
- Selected candidates will be placed in appropriate grade and follow applicable career progression as per company policy.
- Employment status (Permanent/FTE) will remain unchanged including parent vertical (AASL/AIXL etc.).
Salary:
- AME Trainees will be paid as per AIESL Board approved policy. Salary protection will be given if trainee is already drawing a higher salary.
