- Qualification: Full time Graduate Degree along with full time Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma from a University recognized by the Govt. of India in logistics/ shipping/ port/ maritime management or allied disciplines or business management/ business administration; Knowledge of computer and MS Office. Desirable: Exposure of Shipping, Port, Logistics etc.; Experience in Port operations and Cargo handling of 1 year and more; Good communication skills and knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi and English.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 01-04-2026 (OBC(NCL): 3 years relaxation; SC/ST: 5 years relaxation)
- Pay Scale: Rs. 60,000/- per month (fixed), with 5% increment every term

Other Important Information
- The engagement is purely on contractual basis for a period up to 11 months from the date of joining, extendable up to 03 terms based on performance with adequate break in engagement.
- Contract engagement shall not confer any right to claim permanent absorption in Port service.
- Traffic Executives will work in rotational shifts for 6 days a week or general shift as per requirement; daily working hours: 8 hours.
- Weekly off on roster basis; work on weekly off/National Holiday will be compensated with a compensatory rest day (no monetary compensation).
- Not eligible for any other allowances/financial benefits available to regular employees.
- No conveyance allowance; however, bus transportation from Gandhidham to Kandla and back is available.
- Quarter: ‘E’ quarter may be allotted subject to availability on payment of applicable License Fee and charges.
- Leave: Casual Leave @ 1 day per month with prior approval; sick leave up to 10 days per term for critical illness (certified by DPA Chief Medical Officer) without deduction.
- Outdoor medical facilities (OPD) for self only; no reimbursement for medicines.
- Contract can be terminated by giving 15 days’ notice on either side; terminable on 24 hours’ notice for unsatisfactory performance or derogatory conduct.
- In case of death during contract, balance contractual amount due will be paid to legal heirs; no other financial benefits.
- DPA reserves the right to cancel/modify/amend the notification without prior intimation.
- Court of jurisdiction for any dispute: Gandhidham only.
- Age as on: 01-04-2026.
