Selection Procedure

Selection will be based on Preliminary examination/ Main Written examination & Personality test.

1.Preliminary examination: Preliminary examination consisting of 02 papers based on Objective type (multiple choice) questions. Details of both papers as follow:

Paper-I (General Studies):  This paper shall be of 200 marks and there shall be 100 objective type (Multiple choices) questions.

Paper–II (Aptitude Test): This paper shall be of 200 marks and in this paper there shall be 100 objective type (Multiple choices) questions.

• This preliminary examination will consist of two objective type papers (multiple choice questions) and carry a maximum of 400 marks in the subjects of General Studies and Aptitude Test.
• There will be negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer.
• The duration of examination will be 2 hours.

2.Main Written Examination

The candidates declared qualified in the Preliminary examination will have to submit application for Main Examination through online/offline mode. The number of candidates to be called for Main written examination will be about 20 times of the total number of vacancies to be filled in on the basis of aforementioned examination.

3.Personality Test

The number of candidates to be called for viva–voce test after the Main written examination by the Commission shall be at its discretion on the basis of marks obtained by them in the Main written examination only. Main written examination as well as in the Personality Test test would determine their final merit for selection.
