As soon as the UPSC Department made an announcement in respect of Central Armed Police Force Examination 2016, candidates from all over India began to rejoice the opportunity. The UPSC CAPF (AC) Exam is an opportunity to the citizens to be a part of the national police force. Each year millions of candidates appear for this exam and with time, the popularity of this examination continues to grow at a decent pace. The last date of making an online application is somewhere close to mid May 2016 and hence, interested candidates should ensure a prompt registration.
How to I register for UPSC CAPF (AC) Exam 2016?
The department has specifically mentioned that all applications are required to be made online. A candidate needs to make an online application by way of visiting the official website of UPSC, that is, www.upsconline.nic.in. Apart from making online application, there is no other means to register.
Additionally, every candidate would be requiring some documents as well. They are:
- A facility to pay online (Credit card/ Net Banking/ Debit Card, etc.)
- A scanned version of a candidate’s signature. It should be ensured that the file size of the signature should not exceed 40 KB and should be atleast 1 KB
- A scanned version of a candidate’s passport size photograph. The file size of the image should be atleast 3 KB and should not exceed 40KB.
How make an online application for UPSC CAPF (AC)?
Making an online application for UPSC CAPF (AC) Exam is extremely simple and user friendly. Any candidate who possesses minimum knowledge of computers and the internet can do it with the aid of few clicks. A step-by-step procedure of the same is given below:
Step 1- UPSC Website
The first step is to open the official website of UPSC. Just type www.upsconline.nic.in on the address bar and wait for the webpage to load.
Step 2- Select the option for Online Application
Once the website is loaded, there would be two options on the centre of the screen. The upper one would be in respect of online registration and the lower one will be in respect of online recruitment. You would be required to choose the upper link.
Step 3- Choose Part I register and proceed
A new page will open up where the name of the exam would be mentioned along with various options. Among those options, click on the link which is present below the ‘PART I REGISTRATION’ column. A new page will load where you would be required to scroll down and click on ‘Yes’.
Step 4- Complete Part I Registration
You will now be in the Part I registration page where you would be required to enter your basic detail and proceed ahead by clicking on ‘I Agree’ tab.
Step 5- Commence Part II Registration
After completing the Part I Registration number, you will have a registration number from the UPSC department. Use the same to unlock Part II registration and begin with Part II Registration. Here you will be required to upload the scanned copy of your signature and photograph.
Step 6- Complete Part II Registration by making payment
The process would require you to fill up information in detail and in the end use the online payment mechanism to complete your online application process immediately. Alternatively, you can also take a print out of the Challan and make a physical payment in the nearest authorized bank.
Once the payment is successfully received by the department, you will receive an acknowledgment of the same along with a confirmation message.
