UPSC CMS Computer Based Examination Syllabus – 500 marks
First of all, every candidate should be aware of the fact that the computer based examination for UPSC CMS Exam will be divided into two papers and each paper will consist of 250 marks each. UPSC CMS Syllabus Preparation Tips:
Though the syllabus is extremely vast, candidate often implement a smart study approach to overcome the barriers in the exam. Some of the commonly followed preparation tips are as follows:
- Studying every chapter is not necessary. Candidate may skip a chapter or two because a maximum of 1-2 questions would be asked from each chapter. Even if you leave out these questions in the exam, you will have time to solve other questions and make the compensation.
- Timing is everything. 120 minutes is way to less solve 120 questions in both the paper. Target 80 – 90 questions with a view to answer most of them correctly.
- Do not try and attempt a question if you are unsure about the answer. The exam carries negative marking and if you get an answer wrong, you will lose your hard earned marks.
- Planning your approach is important. You can start off with the section in which your comfort level is maximum. This will give you confidence as well as more marks.
