UPSC has declared the result of Engineering Service Examination 2017 on 23rd June 2017. The successful candidates should apply for detail application form (DAF) to appear for personality test. The detail application form will available on the official website from 29th June 2017 to 12 July 2017.

No document is required to view ESE results online. The results for ESE 2017is open to all and any person can view the same on the official website of UPSC. The scheme of affairs has been maintained with a view to maintain transparency.

How to view my UPSC ESE Result online?

It is extremely simple to view the ESE results online. All that a candidate has to do is follow the mentioned steps:

Step 1- Access UPSC’s website
The UPSC website is easily accessible on a computer which has a working internet connection. All that you are required to do is visit www.upsc.gov.in. Apart from this website, result cannot be viewed on any other website because the UPSC department reserves exclusive right to declare the result.

Step 2- Find the link for UPSC ESE Result

After visiting the website, you are required to find the right link for viewing your result. Generally, the links on the right hand side of the web page are related to notifications and results. Therefore, you are required to find your link here.

If you are facing any problem while finding the link, then you can use the find option on the web page. Step 3- Search your Roll Number

The exam results from UPSC are declared through roll numbers. You can simply scroll and find your respective roll number in the sheets. What’s next?

After clearing your examination, you will be required to clear the personality test round which will carry 200 marks. During this test, factors such as knowledge of the candidate, overall appearance of the candidate, communication skill of the candidate, etc., would be tested.

A candidate’s overall score would be determined by accumulating his score in written test as well as the personality test. Selected candidates would then be scanned through a medical test and a physical fitness test. Candidates who have cleared all the rounds would be offered a job letter from the Railways Department of India.
