Selection Procedure

- Written Examination: A written examination will be conducted to test the candidate’s capability in English Shorthand at 180 w.p.m. (3 minutes duration) and 150 w.p.m. (4 minutes duration) with transcription time of 40 and 45 minutes respectively, to be done on computers. The test will be for 100 marks.
- Candidates possessing English Shorthand at 180 w.p.m. will be given preference. Candidates with 150 w.p.m. will be considered only if sufficient candidates with 180 w.p.m. are not available.
- The date of examination will be notified on the official website of the High Court and communicated via Hall-Ticket.
- Results will be uploaded on the official website of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.
- 20 posts will be filled by Direct Recruitment and 12 posts by Transfer from other services.

- BC candidates must submit latest Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued in 2025 or 2026; failing which candidature will be considered under Open Competition only.
- EWS candidates must submit EWS certificate issued in 2025 or 2026 by the concerned Tahsildar (gross annual family income below Rs.8,00,000/-).
- Disability certificate must be issued in 2025 or 2026 by the Medical Board specifying nature and percentage of disability.
- Ex-servicemen must submit Discharge Certificate.
- Sports quota applicants must furnish certificates in Form-I/II/III/V as per G.O.Ms.No.4 dated 19.04.2025.
- No Objection Certificate required if currently employed.
- Examination fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the written examination.
