- Academic Merit (75 marks): 75% of total marks will be allocated based on aggregate marks obtained in all years of the qualifying examination (GNM / B.Sc Nursing) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience Weightage (up to 10 marks): @ 1.0 mark per completed year after acquiring the requisite qualification, reckoned up to the date of notification.
- Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium Service Weightage (up to 15 marks):
- @ 2.5 marks per six months in Tribal Area
- @ 2.0 marks per six months in Rural Area
- @ 1.0 marks per six months in Urban Area
- COVID-19 service weightage applicable for those who served on Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium basis appointed by District Collector or competent authority. If service is less than 6 months for COVID, weightage shall be 0.8 marks per completed month.
- Service weightage for CHOs (MLHPs) working in Village Health Clinics as per G.O.RT.No.108, HM&FW(E1), dated 14.02.2024.
- Candidates claiming service weightage must submit original contract/outsourcing/honorarium service certificate in the prescribed proforma along with a copy of appointment orders.
- The Merit List is valid for one year from the date of publishing on the website.

- Nature of Appointment: Contract basis initially for a period of one (1) year, extendable as per Government instructions. The Selection Committee reserves the right to terminate contract services with one month’s notice.
- Posting Location: Government General Hospital (GGH), Piduguralla, Palnadu District, Andhra Pradesh (Zone III – Guntur Zone).
