Domicile Requirement: Candidates must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and must possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority on or before the cut-off date (19.05.2026).

Reservation: Applicable as per J&K Reservation Act/Rules. Horizontal Reservation for Ex-Servicemen and PwBD candidates is applicable as per extant rules.

Scribe Facility: Candidates with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) may avail the facility of a Scribe and/or compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination, subject to submission of required certificates (Annexure-B and Annexure-C).

Prohibited Items in Examination Hall: Mobile phones (even in switched off mode), pagers, electronic devices, smart watches, smart glasses, AI-enabled devices, cameras, Bluetooth devices, pen drives, bags, or any valuable items are strictly prohibited.

Admit Card: Will be available for download approximately one week before the examination date on the official website. Candidates must bring a printout of the Admit Card along with two recent passport-size colour photographs and a valid Photo-ID proof to the examination hall.

In-Service Candidates: Must submit a printout of the filled online application form through proper channel (Head of Department) to the Office of the Secretary, JKSSB, by or before the last date of Document Verification.

Multiple Applications: Only one online application per Item Number is allowed. In case of multiple applications for the same Item No., the latest application will be considered. Appearing more than once for the same Item No. will result in cancellation of candidature and debarment.

No TA/DA: No travelling allowance or daily allowance will be paid for participation in the written test or document verification.
