• Physical Standards: Height: 158 cm; Chest (Normal): 76 cm for all posts.
• Vision Standards (Driver & Driver-cum-Conductor): Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (both eyes); Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (both eyes). Color blindness or any eye disease is a disqualification. Medical certificate from a government ophthalmologist is required.
• Medical Fitness: Candidates must produce a medical fitness certificate from a doctor not below the rank of Civil Surgeon and an ophthalmologist at the time of appointment.
• Security Deposit: Selected candidates must submit a Demand Draft of Rs. 30,000/- (interest-free) in the name of Chairman & Managing Director, KSRTC-SWIFT as security deposit at the time of joining.
• Mandatory Service: Candidates who successfully complete training must serve KSRTC SWIFT for a minimum of 2 years (not less than 240 duties per year). Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the security deposit of Rs. 30,000/-.
• KSRTC Employees: KSRTC employees will serve on Working Arrangement/Deputation basis and must enter into a separate agreement with KSRTC SWIFT. Their salary will continue from KSRTC; only incentives/allowances/batta will be paid by SWIFT. Employees with 5 or more years of experience in KSRTC will be given preference.
• Duty Pattern: As per Motor Transport Workers Act 1961/Rules 1962; 8-hour duty per day; 1 weekly off per week.
• Overtime: Rs. 130/- per hour for work beyond 8 hours (including sign-in and sign-off). If overtime exceeds 5 hours, it is treated as the next duty.
• Incentives: Incentives are provided for good performance in customer relations, bus maintenance, cleanliness, punctuality, uniform compliance, and revenue generation.
• Conductor/Driver-cum-Conductor Requirements: Must be able to read and write Malayalam and English; must have basic arithmetic skills.
• Police Clearance Certificate (PCC): Selected candidates must submit PCC from the local police station within 10 days of selection.
• Disqualification: Candidates previously dismissed from KSRTC SWIFT or those who absconded from duty after signing a contract are not eligible to apply.
• Rank List Validity: One year from the date of publication.
• Appointment: Appointment from the rank list will be on a rotation basis as per vacancies; no claim for permanent appointment can be made based on temporary service.
• EPF/ESI: Applicable to all employees.
• Dual Cameras: Buses will be fitted with dual cameras for surveillance.
• Termination: The company reserves the right to terminate without notice for absenteeism, misconduct, contract violation, drunk driving, or causing damage exceeding Rs. 1,00,000/- to the bus/vehicle.
