Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- Screening of Applications: A Screening Committee will segregate online applications into ‘Eligible’ and ‘Not Eligible’ based on information provided by the applicant as per advertisement specifications. Minimum qualifying marks in essential qualifications: 45% for all Non-Executive positions (pass is sufficient for Intermediate CA/ICWA and certifications).
- Written Competitive Examination (Weightage: 100%): Shortlisted candidates will appear for a Written Test conducted at Nagpur by an Independent External Agency notified as ‘Public Examination Authority’ under ‘The Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024’. Cut-off marks: UR/OBC-NCL/EWS – 50%; SC/ST – 45%; PwD – as per extant Government Guidelines. A merit list will be drawn based on written test scores and approved by the Concerned Director. In case of tie, the Chairman of Committee’s decision (documented with reason) will be final.
- Document Verification: Candidates clearing the written test will be called for Document Verification in the ratio of up to 1:7 (7 candidates per vacancy in order of merit). If the number of candidates clearing the written test is lower than 1:7, all clearing candidates will be called.
- Skill Test / Trade Test (Qualifying in Nature): Candidates clearing Document Verification will appear for a Skill Test/Trade Test conducted by an Internal Committee. Candidates will be categorized as ‘Suitable’ or ‘Not Suitable’. This test is qualifying in nature only.
- Final Merit List: After eliminating ‘Not Suitable’ candidates in the Skill/Trade Test, the Final Merit List will be drawn in order of merit based on Written Test marks. In case of tie, the Chairman of Committee’s decision (documented with reason) will be final. The Final Merit List requires approval of the Concerned Functional Director.
- Note: All tests will be conducted at Nagpur City only. No TA will be paid for any stage of the selection process.

- Apprenticeship Experience: As per Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship O.M. dated 19.02.2024, Apprenticeship Training of one year and above may be considered as work experience of one year for apprentices with ITI qualification under Schedule-1 of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate, w.e.f. 19.02.2024.
- Training/Internship: Period of Training/Internship/Articleship during academic course curriculum will NOT be considered as experience.
