Other Important Information:
- Nature of Engagement: Purely contractual basis. Associates/Senior Associates/Consultants shall have the legal status of independent consultants and shall NOT be regarded as staff member, official, or employee of NHIDCL.
- Tenure: Fixed period of 2 years, extendable by 1 year up to a maximum of 3 years (2+1 years). Continuation beyond the first and subsequent years is subject to the decision of the Consultants’ Review Committee (CRC).
- Remuneration: Consultancy fee is inclusive of all applicable taxes. No other facility or allowance shall be paid. An annual enhancement of 5% will be allowed in the consultancy fee.
- Payment: Monthly remuneration will be paid within 7 days after completion of the month, subject to periodic completion of work certified by the Controlling Officer.
- Tax Deductions: Income tax or any other applicable tax will be deducted at source. NHIDCL will issue TDS certificates. Individual consultants shall be liable to pay Goods and Services Tax (GST) as applicable.
- Experience Requirements:
- Associate: 0-2 Years post-qualification experience
- Senior Associate: 2-9 Years post-qualification experience
- Consultant: 9-15 Years post-qualification experience
- Foreign Degree Holders: For candidates having degrees from universities/institutes outside India, Times/QS ranking of such universities/institutes shall be considered.
- Organization: NHIDCL is a Public Sector Undertaking under Companies Act, 2013, under the aegis of Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), Government of India, operational since September 2015.
