- Eligibility: Only Indian Nationals are eligible. Final year appearing students are NOT eligible. Only GATE-2024/GATE-2025 scores are valid; scores from any other year are not accepted.
- Service Agreement/Surety Bond: Selected candidates must execute a service agreement and surety bond for a minimum of 4 years of service (including training period). Bond amount: Rs. 4,00,000/- + applicable GST for OBC (NCL) candidates; Rs. 2,00,000/- + applicable GST for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- Placement: Candidates will be placed at Projects/Power Stations/Offices including Joint Ventures & Subsidiary Companies of NHPC across India or abroad.
- Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must be medically fit as per NHPC’s extant guidelines. Candidates with reported ailments or previously declared unfit by any Government Authority/PSU must declare their medical condition.
- OBC (NCL) Certificate: Must be issued within 6 months from the closing date of online application.
- NOC Requirement: Candidates employed with Government Departments/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies must attach a scanned NOC with their application or produce it at the time of GD/PI.
- Travel Reimbursement: To and fro Third AC Rail fare/Bus fare (actual, shortest route) reimbursed for GD/PI attendance, provided distance is not less than 30 km.
