Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- GATE Score (90% weightage): Selection is based on valid GATE Score (GATE 2024, 2025, or 2026). Only QR Coded GATE Score Cards will be accepted. The GATE mark must be equal to or more than the qualifying mark of the candidate’s category as mentioned in the GATE Score Card.
- Document Verification: Candidates will be shortlisted for document verification based on GATE Score in order of merit. A mere participation in document verification does not confer any right for selection.
- Interview (10% weightage): After document verification, candidates meeting all eligibility conditions will be shortlisted for Interview. The number of candidates called for interview in each category will be about 2 times the advertised vacancies (subject to a minimum of 5).
- Final Merit List: Prepared on the basis of aggregate score (GATE Score 90% + Interview 10%). The final merit list will have candidates equal to the number of advertised vacancies in each category.
- Tie-Breaking: In case of equal aggregate marks, merit is determined by Interview marks (higher marks ranked higher). In case of further tie, the older candidate is ranked higher.
