- Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions) Written Examination.
- Merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written examination.
- In case of a tie in merit, the older candidate will be preferred based on date of birth. If age is also equal, the candidate with a higher percentage in the required educational qualification will be preferred. If still tied, higher matriculation marks will be considered. The decision of the Subordinate Services Selection Board will be final in such cases.
- Candidates will be called for document verification/counseling based on the merit list. The number of candidates called for counseling will be decided by the Board.
- After successful counseling, names of eligible candidates will be recommended to the concerned department based on the available vacancies.
- All information regarding the written examination (schedule, date, exam center, Admit Card, result, merit list) and recruitment process will be uploaded only on the Board’s website. No individual communication will be sent.

ਉਮਰ ਸੀਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੋਟ (Age Relaxation Rules)
1) ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸੂਚਿਤ ਜਾਤੀ (SC) ਅਤੇ ਪੱਛੜੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀ (BC) ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਉਮਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਰਲੀ ਸੀਮਾ 42 ਸਾਲ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
2) ਰਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਮਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਰਲੀ ਸੀਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੋਟ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਉਮਰ ਸੀਮਾ 45 ਸਾਲ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
3) ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਫੌਜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਮਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਰਲੀ ਸੀਮਾ Punjab Recruitment of Ex-Servicemen Rules, 1982 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮੇਂ-ਸਮੇਂ ਤੇ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸੋਧਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਸਾਬਕਾ ਫੌਜੀ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਫੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਘਟਾ ਕੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਬਚੀ ਉਮਰ, ਜੇਕਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਅਸਾਮੀ ਦੀ ਉਪਰਲੀ ਉਮਰ ਸੀਮਾ ਤੋਂ 3 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਉਮਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਰਲੀ ਸੀਮਾ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਤ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
4) ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕ ਅਪਾਹਜ (Persons with Disabilities) ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਮਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਰਲੀ ਸੀਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ 10 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਛੋਟ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਉਮਰ ਸੀਮਾ 47 ਸਾਲ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
5) ਵਿਧਵਾ, ਤਲਾਕਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਆਹਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁਝ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ (ਪੱਤਰ ਨੰ. 1/50/83-5PP(1368)/3454 ਮਿਤੀ 23.04.1984) ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਮਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਰਲੀ ਸੀਮਾ 40 ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਢਿੱਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਅਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਵਿਧੀ (How to Apply)
1) ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੀ ਵੈੱਬਸਾਈਟ https://sssb.punjab.gov.in
’ਤੇ “Online Applications” ਅਧੀਨ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਲਿੰਕ ’ਤੇ ਕਲਿੱਕ ਕਰਕੇ ਮਿਤੀ 13.01.2026 ਤੋਂ 19.01.2026 ਸ਼ਾਮ 05:00 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਕੇਵਲ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਹੀ ਅਪਲਾਈ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਭੇਜੀ ਗਈ ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
2) ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਅਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੀ ਵੈੱਬਸਾਈਟ ’ਤੇ ਇਸ ਭਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਲਿੰਕ ਹੇਠ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਹਰ ਇਕ ਕਦਮ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
3) ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਅਸਾਮੀ ਲਈ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਫਾਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਫੀਸ ਭਰਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਦੋ ਜਾਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਅਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਫਾਰਮ ਸਬਮਿਟ ਕਰਨੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਫਾਰਮ ਲਈ ਅਲੱਗ ਫੀਸ ਅਦਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
4) ਅਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਭਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਲਿੰਕ ’ਤੇ ਕਲਿੱਕ ਕਰਕੇ ਦਰਸਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਅਸਾਮੀ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੈਖਸਿਕ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਰਜਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਰਜਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਫਲ ਹੋਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ Username ਜਨਰੇਟ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ Login ਕਰਕੇ Step-wise ਪੂਰਾ Application Form ਭਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ Submit ਕਰੇਗਾ।
5) ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਫਾਰਮ ਤਦ ਹੀ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਫੀਸ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਇਗੀ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
6) ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਭਰਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਸਾਈਜ਼ ਫੋਟੋਗ੍ਰਾਫ, ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਸ਼ੈਖਸਿਕ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ (ਮੈਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਿਤੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ, 12ਵੀਂ ਦਾ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ, ਡਿਪਲੋਮਾ/ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ/ਕੋਰਸ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ) ਸਕੈਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਪਲੋਡ ਕਰਨੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
7) ਫਾਰਮ ਸਬਮਿਟ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਫੀਸ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾ ਸਕੇਗੀ।
8) ਫੀਸ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਆਖਰੀ ਮਿਤੀ 21.01.2026 ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
9) ਫੀਸ State Bank of India ਦੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਖਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਲਾਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਾਂ Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
10) ਫੀਸ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਸੂਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਅਧੂਰੀ ਮੰਨੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
11) ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਸਬਮਿਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ Application Form ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਧਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
12) ਅਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਫੀਸ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਉਮਰ ਸੀਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੋਟ (Age Relaxation Rules)

ਸਾਬਕਾ ਫੌਜੀ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਫੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਘਟਾ ਕੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਬਚੀ ਉਮਰ, ਜੇਕਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਅਸਾਮੀ ਦੀ ਉਪਰਲੀ ਉਮਰ ਸੀਮਾ ਤੋਂ 3 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਉਮਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਰਲੀ ਸੀਮਾ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਤ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। -

ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਦੋ ਜਾਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਅਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਫਾਰਮ ਸਬਮਿਟ ਕਰਨੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਫਾਰਮ ਲਈ ਅਲੱਗ ਫੀਸ ਅਦਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। -
ਅਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਭਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਲਿੰਕ ’ਤੇ ਕਲਿੱਕ ਕਰਕੇ ਦਰਸਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਅਸਾਮੀ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੈਖਸਿਕ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਰਜਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਰਜਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਫਲ ਹੋਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ Username ਜਨਰੇਟ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ Login ਕਰਕੇ Step-wise ਪੂਰਾ Application Form ਭਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ Submit ਕਰੇਗਾ। -
ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਫਾਰਮ ਤਦ ਹੀ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਫੀਸ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਇਗੀ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਭਰਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਸਾਈਜ਼ ਫੋਟੋਗ੍ਰਾਫ, ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਸ਼ੈਖਸਿਕ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ (ਮੈਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਿਤੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ, 12ਵੀਂ ਦਾ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ, ਡਿਪਲੋਮਾ/ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ/ਕੋਰਸ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ) ਸਕੈਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਪਲੋਡ ਕਰਨੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

ਫਾਰਮ ਸਬਮਿਟ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਫੀਸ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾ ਸਕੇਗੀ।

ਫੀਸ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਆਖਰੀ ਮਿਤੀ 21.01.2026 ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਫੀਸ State Bank of India ਦੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਖਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਲਾਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਾਂ Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਫੀਸ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਸੂਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਅਧੂਰੀ ਮੰਨੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਸਬਮਿਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ Application Form ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਧਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

ਅਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਫੀਸ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
