(Chemistry) Degree from UGC/AICTE recognized University with Physics as one subject during any of the 3 years and NCVT in Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) [AO(CP)] Trade completed after B.Sc.; Min 55% marks in last year or average of last two semesters (50% for SC/ST). Option 2: Full time & regular Three Years' Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology from UGC/AICTE recognized University and 1 Year BOAT Training under Apprentice Act 1961 (or HSC Science with direct admission to 2nd year/3rd Semester of such Diploma + BOAT); Min 55% marks (50% for SC/ST). Option 3: 4 years (8 Semesters) or 3.5 years (7 Semesters) full time Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology under Sandwich Pattern from UGC/AICTE recognized University (or HSC Science with direct admission to 2nd year/3rd Semester); Min 55% marks (50% for SC/ST).

- Pay Scale: Stipend of Rs. 22,000/- per month during 6-month training; After absorption in Grade II (A6): Pay Scale Rs. 22,000-60,000/-; Gross Monthly Salary approx. Rs. 47,800/- (Basic Pay + VDA 53.4% + Perks 34% + HRA 30% for Class A cities)
Selection Procedure

- Online Test (Computer Based): Objective type test of 90 minutes duration. Total 100 questions of 200 marks. 80 questions (2 marks each) from discipline-related course curriculum and 20 questions (2 marks each) from General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & General Knowledge/Awareness. Negative marking applicable for wrong answers. Medium: Marathi, Hindi (Rajbhasha), and English. Centers: Mumbai and Nagpur.
- Document Scrutiny: Based on online test merit, candidates shortlisted in ratio of 1:7 (category-wise) will undergo document verification. Candidates with Nil or Negative marks are ineligible.
- Skill Test (Qualifying Nature): Total 100 marks. Practical Job Knowledge and Handling of Technical Equipment: 80 marks; Safety Awareness and Computer Knowledge: 20 marks. Qualifying marks: 60 (55 for SC/ST candidates). No personal interview for workmen category (Group C).
- Pre-Employment Medical Examination: Candidates must be medically fit as per RCF pre-employment medical standards. Includes physical examination, audiometry, ECG, vision/eye test, pathology (blood & urine), X-Ray chest, lung function test, height/weight, BMI, etc.
- Final Merit: Based 100% on Online Test marks. Skill Test is qualifying in nature. Tie-breaking criteria: (a) Highest % in SSC; (b) Date of Birth (elder preferred); (c) Application number (earlier applicant preferred).
