- Honorarium and expenses will be paid only for specific assigned legal service work as per prevailing rules.

- Applicant should not be a registered legal practitioner (advocate).
- No criminal case should be registered against the applicant at any police station. An affidavit to this effect must be attached with the application.

- Preference will be given to candidates residing near the service location in the respective tehsil.
- Preference will be given to members of deprived/marginalized communities and respected community members during selection.
- PLVs must be willing to participate in legal services, legal literacy, awareness programs, campaigns, street plays, and training programs.
- PLVs’ work and attendance will be continuously monitored; periodic work reports and updates will be required.
- Empanelment is for one year (Session 2026-27).
