- Selection is based purely on Interview carrying 100 marks.
- Candidates must report at 9:30 AM at the venue: Board Room, 6th Floor, Academic Block, AIIMS Vijaypur Jammu, 181134. Attendance closes at 11:30 AM.
- On the day of interview, a Scrutiny Committee will verify original documents (eligibility, age, category, experience, NOC, etc.). Only candidates cleared by the Scrutiny Committee will be allowed to appear for the interview.
- Merit list for all categories (SC/ST/OBC/UR/EWS) will be prepared based on interview marks only.
- In case of a tie (same marks), the older candidate (earlier date of birth) will be ranked higher.

- Rolling Advertisement: This is Recruitment Cycle – 1. Further vacancies will be uploaded on the Institute’s website after each recruitment cycle. Candidates must apply afresh and pay fees separately for every new recruitment cycle.
- Total Vacancies: 78 posts (including backlog posts) across 31 departments/specialities.
- Reservation: SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD reservation as per Government of India rules. PwBD (minimum 40% disability) reservation is 4% on horizontal basis.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years; OBC: 3 years; PwBD (General): 10 years; PwBD (OBC): 13 years; PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years; Ex-servicemen: 5 additional years.
- Senior Residency Tenure: Total tenure is 3 years (Non-Academic). Candidates who have completed 3 years under Central Residency Scheme are not eligible. Prior SR service in any Govt./PSU/Autonomous Body will be counted towards the 3-year limit.
- Performance Review: Performance will be reviewed after each year; extension beyond 1st or 2nd year depends on review committee recommendations.
