- Tenure: Appointment is purely on tenure basis for an initial period of 6 months only. It does not confer any right for regular/permanent appointment.
- Termination: The tenure engagement can be terminated at any time by the Institute. The employee can leave by giving 1 month notice or salary in lieu thereof.
- Private Practice: Strictly prohibited. This is a whole-time appointment.
- Shift Duty: The appointee will have to work in shifts and may be posted on rotation including Trauma & Emergency Medicine.
- Joining: Selected candidates must join within 30 days of issue of the Offer of Appointment. No joining extension will be considered.
- Age Relaxation: PwD (OPH) candidates get 10 years relaxation. Other categories as per DoPT instructions. No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
- Candidates Already Done 2 Terms of JR (Non-Academic): Will not be considered. Each term is 6 months; joining and leaving at any time counts as one term.
- EWS Posts: If suitable EWS candidates are not found, posts will not be carried forward; UR candidates may be considered provisionally.
- No TA/DA: No travelling or other allowances will be paid for joining.
