For Technician (1) / Gr. II (1):
- Stage-I: Trade Test – Candidates shortlisted by the Screening Committee will be invited for a Trade Test in the relevant subject. This is conducted by a duly constituted Selection Committee.
- Stage-II: Competitive Written Examination (CWE) – Candidates who qualify the Trade Test will be invited for a Competitive Written Examination (OMR-based or Computer-Based Objective Type MCQ).
- Medium: English and Hindi (except English Language questions)
- Standard: SSC + ITI / XII Standard
- Total Questions: 150 | Total Time: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
- Paper-I (1 Hour): Mental Ability Test (General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Problem Solving, Situational Judgement) – 50 Questions, 100 Marks (2 marks/correct answer, No negative marking)
- Paper-II (30 Minutes): General Awareness (25 Qs, 75 Marks) + English Language (25 Qs, 75 Marks) – 3 marks/correct, -1 for wrong answer
