Union Bank of India Apprentice Vacancy Detail 2026
Other Important Information:
- Nature of Engagement: This is NOT an employment in the Bank. It is on-the-job training under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The Bank has no obligation to offer regular employment after completion of apprenticeship.
- Duration of Training: 1 (One) year from the date of contract.
- Stipend: Rural/Semi-Urban: Rs. 15,000/month; Urban: Rs. 18,000/month; Metro: Rs. 20,000/month. No other allowances/benefits applicable.
- Leave: One casual leave per month of apprenticeship; maximum 4 casual leaves at a time. No other type of leave applicable.
- Eligibility Restrictions: Candidates who have previously undergone apprenticeship (with Union Bank or any other organization), or have job experience of 1 year or more after completing educational qualification, are NOT eligible.
- Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in at least one local language of the state applied for.
- District Preference: Candidates may give preferences of five districts; home district should be first preference. Final allotment is at Bank’s discretion.
- Prohibited Activities: Apprentices are prohibited from joining/forming any Union Body.
- Assessment & Certification: After completion of training, apprentices must pass an assessment test to receive a certificate.
- Aadhaar Mandatory: All candidates must produce Aadhaar number before engagement/contract signing.
- Jurisdiction: All legal proceedings shall be instituted only in Mumbai courts/tribunals/forums.
