Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- Selection will be made on the basis of a Walk-in Interview conducted by a duly constituted Selection Board.

Other Important Information:
- Contract Period: One year on contractual basis. The contractual engagement may be terminated/discontinued on either side after giving one-month notice.
- Caution Deposit: Rs. 1,42,170/- to be deposited via Demand Draft in favour of ESI Corporation payable at Kalaburagi at the time of joining. Refundable after completion of contract and production of ‘No Dues Certificate’. Will be forfeited if contract is terminated within 3 months.
- Eligibility Restrictions: Candidates serving bond under any Government Institution are not eligible. Candidates who have completed 3 years as Senior Resident in any Govt. Institution are not eligible.
- No Private Practice is allowed during the tenure of service in ESIC.
- No other allowances like DA, NPA, HRA etc. will be payable apart from the consolidated remuneration.
- Leave Entitlement: 2½ leaves per calendar month (working); no leave can be availed in advance.
- Attendance: Medical Officers are required to mark attendance manually as well as on Aadhar Enabled Bio-metric Attendance System (AEBAS) daily.
- Bank Account: Selected candidates must open an SB Account in State Bank of India (if not already held).
- Stamp Paper: Selected candidates must enter into a contractual agreement on a stamp paper of Rs. 500/-.
- No claim for regularization of services, PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowances, Seniority, Promotion or Leave will be admissible.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for interview or joining.
- EWS Criteria: Family gross annual income below Rs. 8.00 Lakh; exclusions apply for ownership of 5 acres agricultural land or above, residential flat of 1000 sq. ft. or above, residential plot of 100 sq. yards or above in notified municipalities, or 200 sq. yards or above in other areas.
- Documents Required: SSC/10th Certificate (age proof), MBBS Certificate, PG/DNB Certificate, Registration with Karnataka State Medical Council (KMC)/NMC, Caste Certificate, Experience Certificate (if any), Proof of ID (Aadhar Card and PAN Card), 2 Passport size photographs, NOC from present employer.
