Other Important Information
- Internship Duration: One year on stipend basis.
- Stipend: Rs. 30,000/- (Thirty Thousand only) per month. No other allowances will be paid.
- Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 27 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST and OBC as per Govt. rules.
- Eligibility: Only fresh candidates who have passed M.Sc. from a recognized University/affiliated College/Delhi Govt. Universities/Central Universities located in Delhi are eligible. Candidates who have already worked as paid intern in FSL, Delhi are NOT eligible.
- Leave: 8 Casual Leaves and 2 Restricted Holidays per calendar year (proportional for shorter tenure). No earned leave, medical leave, or any other leave permitted.
- Posting: Interns may be posted at various Divisions of FSL or on Mobile Forensic Vans at the sole discretion of the Principal Director (FSL) and shall be required to work 24×7 in shift manner.
- Termination: The internship can be terminated without notice for unauthorized absence of 5 continuous working days, misrepresentation of facts, misconduct, or criminal acts. One month’s prior notice is required from the intern; failing which, one month’s stipend is to be refunded.
- Agreement: Selected candidates must execute an engagement agreement on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/- before joining.
- No Regularization: Interns shall not stake any claim for regularization of service in any court of law.
- Jurisdiction: Courts at Delhi/New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes.
- Number of seats are tentative and may be revised as per directions of the Principal Director/HOD FSL.
- Scope of Work: Practical experience in Forensic Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Cyber Forensic, Fingerprint Analysis, DNA Analysis, and Crime Scene Investigation.
