- Online Preliminary Examination: Candidates must qualify in all four sections (English Language, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude/General Awareness, and Professional Knowledge) by securing minimum cut-off marks. Duration: 80 minutes, Total Marks: 125.
- Online Main Examination: Shortlisted candidates from Preliminary appear for Main Examination. Merit listing is based on Professional Knowledge scores. Duration: 155 minutes, Total Marks: 225 (including Descriptive Paper for Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari). There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in objective tests.
- Interview: Candidates shortlisted in Main Examination are called for a Common Interview conducted by Participating Banks and coordinated by the Nodal Bank. Total marks: 100. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
- Final Merit & Provisional Allotment: Combined final score is based on Online Main Examination (80%) and Interview (20%). Candidates are provisionally allotted to Participating Banks based on merit-cum-preference, subject to actual vacancies reported by banks for 2027-28.
