- 2 (two) posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) in non-surgical departments as per Government of India policy.
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and as per Govt. norms for PwBD candidates.
- EWS posts are not carried forward or considered as backlog vacancy; unfilled EWS seats may be provisionally filled by other category candidates as UR only.
- OBC (NCL) candidates must produce the latest OBC (NCL) certificate issued during the current financial year (1.4.2026 to 31.3.2027).
- Candidates employed under State/Central Govt. or PSU/Autonomous body must produce NOC from competent authority.
- Candidates who have completed 1 (one) year tenure as Junior Resident (house job) in State/Central Govt. or PSU/Autonomous bodies are NOT eligible to apply.
- Candidates sponsored by the Govt. of Meghalaya for MBBS must produce NOC from Govt. of Meghalaya prior to joining.
