Selection Procedure:
- Scrutiny of Applications: Applications will be scrutinized for eligibility as per Gazette Notification dated 24/07/2017, Schedule E, Statute 23(5)(A), and Statutes of NITs/NIT Sikkim.
- Shortlisting: Eligible applicants will be shortlisted based on their credit point score and research/academic performance. The Institute reserves the right to set higher norms/criteria than minimum prescribed norms for shortlisting.
- Written Test / Screening Examination: Provisionally shortlisted candidates may be required to appear in a written examination and/or presentation. Syllabus will be as per UG, PG and Ph.D. level courses of CFTIs/AICTE approved Institutes.
- Presentation and Interview: Final shortlisted candidates will appear before the Selection Committee for presentation and interview. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in person.
- Selection process will be done as per rules, orders/directions issued by MoE prevailing at the time of Interview.
