- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 23 and 42 years of age as on 1st April, 2025. Must not have been born earlier than 2nd April 1983 and not later than 1st April 2002.
- Reservation for Women: Out of 78 vacancies, 26 are reserved for women (W). In case of non-availability of eligible women candidates, vacancies shall be filled by eligible male candidates of that category.
- PwD Reservation: 4% of vacancies in each category are reserved horizontally for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities with not less than 40% permanent physical disability (excluding cerebral palsy). PwD candidates must upload Permanent Disability Certificate; Temporary Disability Certificate will not be accepted.
- SEBC Certificate: SEBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must submit a Caste Certificate issued not more than 3 years before the date of submission of Online Application Form.
- Ex-Servicemen: Ex-Servicemen who have already secured regular employment under State Government in civil posts shall not be eligible for reservation benefits but will get age relaxation as admissible.
- Experience as Law Clerk/Research Assistant: Period of experience as a Law Clerk/Research Assistant to any Judge, Judicial Officer, or Constitutional Authority shall be counted towards the period of legal practice.
- Fee Refund: Examination fees will be refunded only to candidates who actually appear in the Preliminary Written Examination. Refund will be processed to the original mode of payment used during the transaction.
- Eligible PwD Categories: OA (One Arm), OL (One Leg), BL (Both Leg), OAL (One Arm and One Leg), LC (Leprosy Cured), Dw (Dwarfism), AAV (Acid Attack Victims), SLD (Specific Learning Disabilities), MD (Multiple Disabilities) as per Notification No. 38-16/2020-DD-III, dated 04.01.2021 under Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
