Other Important Information
- Contract Duration: Initially for 1 year, extendable up to a maximum of 4 years (including initial period) based on factory requirement and individual performance.
- Working Hours: 8 hours per day, 6 days per week (48 hours per week) as per production schedule.
- Leave: 12 days paid leave per year (1 day per month), pro-rated. Unused leave cannot be carried forward or encashed.
- EPF: Eligible as per applicable Act and Government guidelines.
- Employees’ Compensation Act, 1923: Personnel will be covered under this Act.
- Performance Review: Half-yearly basis. Poor performers given 3 months to improve; if still poor, services terminated with 15 days’ notice.
- Termination: Either party can terminate with 1 month’s notice or payment of Basic Pay + DA in lieu of notice.
- Not Entitled To: Promotions, OT allowance, Loans/Advances/Interest Subsidies, Medical Facilities (except emergency), Contingency Advance, School Fee Reimbursement, LTC/LTA, Study Leave, Sponsorship for Higher Studies.
- Maternity Benefit: Female personnel entitled as per Maternity Benefit Act, 1961.
- Income Tax / Professional Tax: Applicable as per rules; payable by the employee.
- TA/DA: SC/ST candidates will be paid TA/DA for Document Verification as per Govt. instructions.
- Jurisdiction: Any dispute will be subject to courts/tribunals in Kanpur only.
- Class 10th Board Certificate/Marksheet will only be accepted as proof of Date of Birth.
