OSSSC CRE IV 2023 Exam Date Notice

OSSSC CRE IV 2023 Notification Relaxation of Upper Age Limit:

1. For SC/ST/SEBC Candidates:
   • Relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.
2. Category-specific Relaxations:
   • Women category for the posts of RI, ARI, Amin & SFS: 5 years.
   • For ICDS Supervisor post, the 5-year age relaxation for Women candidates doesn’t apply as it’s meant for Women only.
   • Anganwadi Workers applying for the post of ICDS Supervisor: 5 years additional age relaxation.
   • Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years.
3. Ex-Servicemen Relaxation:
   • RI & ICDS Supervisor: 5 years.
   • ARI, Amin & SFS: Relaxation by the total service period in defense service.
   • Ex-Servicemen with more than six months remaining in service are not eligible.
   • Those already employed under the State Government can avail age relaxation but won’t benefit from reservation.
4. Multiple Category Relaxations:
   • Candidates falling under multiple categories receive the most beneficial relaxation only.
   • Cumulative age relaxation of ten years for Persons with Disabilities under SC/ST/SEBC categories as per OSSSC CRE 2023 Notification.
5. Experience-based Relaxations:
   • For RI, ARI & Amin, 5 years of age relaxation for candidates with settlement/consolidation work experience as per OSSSC CRE 2023 Notification.
6. Special Cases:
   • Candidates terminated in Balangir District after recruitment in 2013, not over 45 years, as per specified orders, are eligible for the recruitment examination.
7. Language Proficiency Requirement:
   • Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write in Odia.
   • Passed the Middle School Examination or Matriculation with Odia as a language/medium subject.

OSSSC CRE IV 2023 How to Apply

I) Step-by-Step Procedure for Registration/Re-registration/Application:

1. Visit the Commission’s website www.osssc.gov.in.
2. Click on “How do I register/re-register/apply” on the Home page for the step-by-step procedure.
3. Instructions for registration/re-registration/application will appear on the screen upon clicking “Registered User” or “New User.”
4. Read the instructions carefully before proceeding.a. Registration:
   • New Users: Click “Apply Online” on the Home page to register for the post.

   b. Re-registration:

   • Registered Users: Log in and choose “Re-registration” under the Applicant Menu for this specific post.

   c. Mere registration/re-registration isn’t the completion of the application. Fill and submit the online application following system guidance after registration/re-registration.

   d. Submission of Online Application:

   • After registration/re-registration, login and fill in detailed information following the system’s guidance. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

II) Pre-Requisites for Registration/Re-registration and Online Application:

1. Specimen Signature: Scan a full specimen signature in “jpg/jpeg/png” format (20Kbs to 50Kbs) for uploading during registration/re-registration.
2. Educational Certificates and Mark Sheets: Keep these documents ready for filling in educational qualification details during online application.
3. Passport Size Photograph: A recent colored photograph scanned in “jpg/jpeg/png” format (20Kbs to 100Kbs) for online uploading.
4. Ensure clarity and visibility of the uploaded photograph and signature. Unclear uploads may lead to rejection.
5. Personal Email ID and Mobile/Cell Number: Applicants must have a valid personal email ID and mobile/phone number throughout the recruitment process for receiving important communications and alerts from the OSSSC Web Portal. Do not share/change your details with others. Create a new email ID if necessary for applying online.
