- Age Limit: 18-35 years (as on last date of submission of online application i.e. 03.10.2026). Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): Online CBT comprising 100 MCQs (objective type) of 100 marks, duration 100 minutes, conducted in English only. Each question carries 1 mark. Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for General/EWS; 35% for SC/ST/OBC. For PwBD candidates, qualifying criteria as per their caste category.
- Short Listing: Based on CBT performance, candidates will be shortlisted category-wise at a ratio of 3 candidates per advertised post (plus ties). Result to be uploaded on PGIMER website within approximately 15 days of the examination date.
- Scrutiny of Applications: Applications and uploaded documents of shortlisted candidates will be scrutinized against applicable recruitment rules to decide eligibility. An eligibility notice will be uploaded on the Institute’s website.
- No Interview: As per Government of India guidelines, no interview will be held for Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) posts.
- Provisional Result (Selected/Waitlisted): Based on merit in CBT, a provisional result of selected/waitlisted candidates will be declared for eligible candidates.
- Document Verification: Provisional selected/waitlisted candidates will be called for personal document verification with originals. Schedule will be intimated through the Institute’s website.
- Final Selection: After document verification, candidates whose certificates are in order will be finally selected on merit based on marks obtained in CBT only.
- Tie Resolution: (i) Fewer wrong answers/negative marks; (ii) Earlier date of birth; (iii) Higher aggregate % in 10+2; (iv) Higher aggregate % in Matric/10th standard.
