Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- Written Competitive Examination: An objective type multiple choice offline (OMR-based) written competitive examination of 100 marks and 2 hours duration will be conducted. Questions will be based on the educational qualification of the post.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: Unreserved, EWS, and OBC candidates must score at least 45%, while SC/ST candidates must score at least 35% to qualify.
- Negative Marking: One-fourth (1/4) of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No negative marking for unattempted questions. Use of whitener or scratching on OMR sheet will also attract negative marking.
- OMR Sheet: OMR answer sheets will be in triplicate. Candidates must submit the original and second copy to the invigilator. The third copy may be retained by the candidate.
- Merit List: A merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written exam. In case of a tie, seniority by age (older candidate ranked higher) will be used; if age is also equal, alphabetical order of names will be applied.
- Document Verification: Document verification is a mandatory part of the selection process. All claims regarding reservation, educational qualification, preferential qualification, and experience will be verified at this stage.
