- Advertisement History: Originally 1017 posts of Assistant Professor were advertised under Advertisement No. 51 (published 09 July 2022), including 107 posts of Assistant Professor B.Ed. The B.Ed. advertisement was cancelled by Allahabad High Court order dated 09.12.2022 (Petition No. 12803/2022) due to qualifications not conforming to NCTE Regulations 2014. A revised advertisement was published on 23 May 2025 (last date 23 June 2025), which was again cancelled. Now, as per UP Government Office Order No. 284/Sattar-1-2026 dated 12 February 2026 and amendment order dated 11 March 2026, the revised qualifications have been approved and this advertisement is being published.
- Eligibility Cut-off Date: Candidates must have held the mandatory educational qualification as on 31 August 2022 (last date of original Advertisement No. 51).
- Re-application for Previous Applicants: Candidates who had applied in the earlier Advertisement No. 51 (dated 09.07.2022) or the revised advertisement (dated 23.05.2025) and who fulfill the mandatory educational qualification must re-apply using their old Application Number (sent via SMS and email). They are NOT required to pay the application fee again.
