Selection Procedure:

Selection for engagement of Apprentices will be based on percentage (%) of marks in the qualifying examination.
The candidature of the applicant will be provisional.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview/Verification of certificates/testimonials through their registered E-mail ID only.
Candidates must submit a Certificate of Medical Fitness (obtained from a Gazetted Government Medical Officer/Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking) at the time of joining.
Police verification certificate to be obtained from local area of residence.
If mark sheet provides CGPA/CGPI/CPI/SGPA, the applicant must convert marks to percentage as per the conversion criteria of the University/Board/AICTE/Institute.

Other Important Information

Apprenticeship training will be conducted at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur. No change in place of training will be entertained.
Candidates who have already completed or terminated their apprenticeship midway, or are pursuing apprenticeship with other organizations or AAI with the same qualification level, are not eligible.
Candidates who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after attainment of essential qualifications are not eligible.
Candidates must have passed Degree/Diploma on or after 01.04.2022. Candidates who have completed more than five years from the date of passing the qualifying examination as on the date of joining are not eligible.
Students who have appeared for final year examination and are awaiting results may also apply; however, engagement shall be subject to qualifying the essential qualification and production of certificate.
Reservation for SC/ST and OBC as applicable will be followed. OBC candidates must submit a valid NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate.
AAI has no obligation to offer regular employment to Apprentices. Candidates shall have no right to claim regular employment from AAI on the basis of this apprenticeship training.
Apprentices who have successfully completed one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI will be exempted from submitting application fees for future direct recruitment in AAI, subject to fulfillment of other requirements.
Candidates applying for more than one discipline will not be considered and their application will be rejected.
In case no application is received from suitable/eligible candidates by the last date, AAI shall take apprentices directly from NATS 2.0 portal.
