Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Examination: All posts will have an objective MCQ-based written test of 120 questions to be attempted in 120 minutes. Each correct answer carries 1 mark and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
- Minimum Qualifying Percentage in CBT: UR/EWS/OBC – 40%; SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen – 35%.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents including age proof, educational qualifications, caste/category certificates, experience certificates, etc.
- Medical Fitness: Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the written test or document verification.

Other Important Information
- Probation Period: 12 months (1 year) of active service from the date of joining. Confirmation in service only upon written intimation from Management.
- Service Bond: Selected candidates must serve a minimum period of 3 years in the Corporation after joining, or pay 3 months’ basic pay (as on date of separation) in lieu thereof.
- Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.
- Minimum Age: 18 years as on date of advertisement for all posts.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 years; PwBD – 10 years; Ex-Servicemen – 3 years after deduction of military service; J&K domicile (01.01.1980–31.12.1989) – 5 years. Maximum cumulative age after relaxation shall not exceed 47 years.
- EWS Reservation: 10% of vacancies reserved for Economically Weaker Sections (family gross annual income below Rs. 8 lakh, subject to asset criteria).
- PwBD Reservation: Horizontal reservation within overall vacancies. Minimum 40% disability required. Scribe facility and compensatory time available as per GOI guidelines.
- Examination Cities: Mumbai/Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Patna, Jaipur.
