Other Important Information

  • The engagement is purely temporary and on contract basis, co-terminus with the project titled “Information systems of traditional knowledge for protection and promotion” (TKDL-TK, MLP002639).
  • Initial tenure is up to 31 March 2027, extendable up to a maximum of 31 March 2031, subject to annual review by a Review Committee.
  • Total number of positions: 50. A panel of waitlisted candidates will be constituted, valid for one year.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Test/Interview.
  • The engagement confers no rights for continuation beyond tenure, absorption, or regularization in CSIR.
  • Contract may be terminated at any time with one month’s notice from either side or one month’s stipend in lieu thereof.
  • The cumulative tenure (inclusive of all CSIR postings) shall not exceed six years at CSIR-TKDL Unit and/or different CSIR Laboratories.
  • Posting location may change as per project requirements at the time of appointment or during the project duration.
  • Project staff may be required to travel as per need.
  • Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Women as per CSIR/Govt. of India rules.
