Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- Final selection and merit will be based on Computer Based Test (CBT) only for all posts (Assistant Engineer Civil, Assistant Engineer Mechanical, Junior Engineer Civil, Junior Engineer Electrical).
- The CBT will be of 120 marks based on Objective Type (MCQ) questions with a duration of 120 minutes.
- Questions will be set in bilingual (Hindi & English), except for English Comprehension questions.
- There will be no Skill Test or Interview for any post.
- Negative Marking: Deduction of 0.33 marks for each wrong MCQ answer. No negative marking for unattempted questions.
- Tie-breaking: In case of equal marks, the candidate senior in age is placed higher. If date of birth is also the same, the candidate whose first name comes first alphabetically (in English) is placed higher.
- The Board reserves the right to prescribe a minimum cut-off mark for any post.
- After the written examination, shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
- Final appointment is subject to medical fitness certificate from the Medical Officer, Cantonment General Hospital, Delhi Cantt.
