Other Important Information
- Tenure: Posts are purely on contract basis as a stopgap arrangement, initially for a period of one year or till the regular incumbent joins through UPSC, New Delhi, whichever is earlier. The engagement shall automatically cease on expiry of the term without any claim to regularization.
- Retired Persons (Radiodiagnosis): Term of appointment shall ordinarily be for an initial period not exceeding one year, extendable by another one year. Beyond two years, may be extended based on review, but not beyond 5 years after superannuation or till regular incumbent joins through UPSC, whichever is earlier.
- Private Practice: Posts are on whole-time basis; private practice of any kind is prohibited.
- Reservation: SC/OBC candidates applying for unreserved posts are not entitled to any relaxation in upper age limit. Reserve category posts not filled may be filled from unreserved category candidates as a stopgap arrangement.
- Non-Medical Teachers (Anatomy): The proportion of non-medical teachers has already been exhausted; non-medical persons will not be appointed against the Anatomy post.
- No TA/DA: No Travelling Allowance/Daily Allowance/Conveyance Allowance will be paid to candidates called for interview.
- Persons previously dismissed: Persons whose services were dispensed with on account of misconduct or otherwise by GMCH are not eligible to apply.
