Selection Procedure

- Written Test / Computer Based Test (CBT): 100% weightage for all posts. Duration: 2 hours. Total 170 questions – Part-I: 120 questions (Technical/Professional Knowledge) + Part-II: 50 questions (Aptitude Test). Each question carries 1 mark. Negative marking of ¼ mark per wrong/multiple answer. Compensatory time for PwBD as per GOI directives.

- JTT(Survey) – Unreserved/EWS: Minimum 40% in aggregate. Reserved: Minimum 30% in aggregate.
- Computer Skill Test (CST) [for JOT(HR) and JOT(F&A)]: Qualifying in nature. Qualifying marks: 50% for Unreserved/EWS and 40% for reserved category candidates.
- Trade Test [for JTT(Survey)]: Qualifying in nature. Qualifying marks: 40% for Unreserved/EWS and 30% for reserved category candidates.
- Empanelment: Final merit based on CBT marks (100% weightage). CST/Trade Test is qualifying only with no weightage in final merit. Tie-breaking by date of birth (eldest first).

- Training Period: One year training before regularization.
- Higher Qualification Restriction: Candidates possessing B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/ME (for DT posts), Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (for JOT-HR), CA/CMA/PG Degree/Diploma (for JOT-F&A), or Diploma/B.E./B.Tech (for JTT-Survey) are NOT eligible to apply.
