Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
Stage 1 – Initial Screening:
All applications are screened based on academic records, qualifications, experience, and other parameters declared in the online application. C-DAC reserves the right to raise the minimum cut-off if the number of applicants significantly exceeds the number of vacancies.
Stage 2 – Written Test (if applicable):
Depending on the number of screened-in applicants and centre requirements, a written/skill test may be conducted at the discretion of the respective C-DAC centre. Candidates will be informed through email only. No TA/DA is paid for attending the written test.
Stage 3 – Personal Interview:
Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview by the respective C-DAC centre. The interview call letter will be sent via email only. Mere receipt of an interview call letter does not confirm selection or acceptance of candidature. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.

Important Information for C-DAC JIT June 2026 Recruitment:
- All positions are purely contractual on consolidated emoluments – initially up to 3 years (1 year for Kolkata centre) or project completion, whichever is earlier. No right to regular/permanent appointment in C-DAC is created.
- Selected candidates may be deputed or transferred to any C-DAC project location across India based on organizational requirement.
- Candidates must apply separately for each post and each centre they wish to be considered for.
- Only PDF format (max 500 KB) is accepted for resume; photograph must be in .jpg format (max 400 KB).
- Candidates from universities using CGPA/DGPA/OGPA or letter grade systems must submit percentage conversion proof issued by the university.
- Final semester candidates may apply but can join only after passing the final exam with the required minimum marks.
- Internship, academic project placements, teaching, and research work as part of curriculum are NOT counted as experience unless specifically mentioned for a post.
- C-DAC internal candidates must have completed at least 2 years of service in C-DAC as on 20 June 2026 to be eligible. If selected, they must resign from current C-DAC service and join as a fresh employee.
- Government/PSU/Autonomous body employees must forward their application through proper channel or produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA is payable for attending the written test or interview at any centre.
