Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:

For Post No. 1, 3 & 5 (Assistant/UDC):

  1. Written Test: Single Objective type paper, 150 minutes duration (with compensation time for PwBD). 200 questions, 200 marks. Parts: General English (50Q/50M), Quantitative Aptitude (50Q/50M), General Intelligence & Reasoning (50Q/50M), General Knowledge (50Q/50M). Marking: +1 for correct, -0.25 for wrong. Qualifying marks: 50% for UR; 40% for Reserved categories.
  2. Skill Test (Computer Literacy Test): Candidates shortlisted in ratio 1:5 (max) to category-wise vacancies (min 10 candidates). Passing: 60% for UR; 50% for Reserved. Comprises MS Word (35 marks), MS Excel (35 marks), MS PowerPoint (30 marks). Duration: 75 minutes.
  3. Final Selection: Based on marks scored in Written Test from among candidates who qualify the Skill Test.
  4. Tie-Breaker: (a) Marks in ‘General Intelligence & Reasoning ability’; (b) Date of birth (older candidate preferred).

For Post No. 2, 4 & 6 (JPA/Stenographer):

  3. Final Selection: Based on marks scored in Written Test from among candidates who qualify the Skill Test.
  4. Tie-Breaker: (a) Marks in ‘English Language & Comprehension’; (b) Date of birth (older candidate preferred).
