Selection Procedure

- Selection will be based on a Written Examination of 360 marks consisting of 120 Objective Type (Multiple Choice) Questions.
- Each correct answer carries 3 marks; each wrong/multiple answer results in a deduction of 1 mark (Negative Marking).
- Duration of the written examination is 2 hours.
- Question paper will be bilingual (Hindi and English).
- In case of equal merit, the candidate with a higher percentage in graduation will be preferred; if still equal, higher percentage in training qualification; if still equal, the older candidate will be ranked higher.
- If the examination is conducted in multiple shifts, Normalization of scores will be applied as per Government Order No. 6/2024/148/General/47/Ka-4-2024 dated 19 June 2024 and UPESSC notification dated 26-02-2026.
- Cut-off marks and scores will be published on the official website after completion of the selection process.
- Document Verification (Record Authentication) will be conducted for shortlisted candidates based on written exam marks.
