Other Important Information
- Number of Vacancies: Total 167 posts (75 Safai Sewak + 92 Mali). The number may increase or decrease depending upon vacancies as on the date of preparation of merit list.
- Age Limit: 18 to 35 years as on 30.06.2026. Relaxation: PwD (40%+) – 10 years; Ex-Servicemen – defence service years + 3 years.
- Proof of Date of Birth: Only Matriculation Certificate (for matriculate or above) or Birth Certificate issued by Registrar of Births and Deaths (for below matric) shall be accepted.
- Reservation: SC/ST/BC reservation and fee relaxation available only to candidates with certificates from Punjab, Haryana, or U.T. Chandigarh who are domiciled/permanent residents there. Others treated as General Category.
- Ex-Servicemen: Reservation benefit available only to Ex-Servicemen themselves, not dependents. Must submit self-attested copy of discharge book at testimonials checking.
- PwD: Candidates with less than 40% disability or disabilities other than Low Vision, Deaf and Dumb, and Intellectually Disabled/Challenged (MILD IQ) shall be considered under General Category with no age/fee relaxation.
- BC Category: Candidates must fulfill Creamy Layer exclusion conditions and submit Declaration (Annexure I) at testimonials checking.
