- Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Technical Examination Board or any recognized University/Institution (Central or State Act) in India, or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government. Candidates with Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering are NOT eligible. Basic computer knowledge and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both required.
- Age Limit: Not more than 33 years as on 02/05/2026. Age relaxation: General Female: 5 years; Reserved Category Male: 5 years; Reserved Category Female: 10 years; General PwD Male: 10 years; General PwD Female: 15 years; Reserved PwD Male: 15 years; Reserved PwD Female: 20 years; Ex-Serviceman: Service period + 3 years. Maximum age limit with relaxation: 45 years.

Provisional Answer Key (PAK): Published after exam; objections invited; Final Answer Key (FAK) prepared accordingly.
Tie-breaking: Higher age gets priority; if age is also equal, then educational merit is considered.

Provisional Merit List: Prepared category-wise based on marks obtained, including applicable bonus marks (widows, sports).
