- Qualification: 1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry / Microbiology / Bio-chemistry / Bio-technology from a recognized University/Institution under UGC Act 1956. 2. Diploma in Laboratory Technician / Medical Laboratory Technician Course / Medical Technology / Medical Laboratory Technology / PG Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology / 1-year Medical Laboratory Technician Training Course / Laboratory Technician Training Course from a Government recognized institution. 3. Basic knowledge of computer application as per Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. 4. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
- Age Limit: Not more than 36 years as on 20/05/2026 (i.e., born between 20/05/1990 and 20/05/2008 for General Male). Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories, women, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen as per rules. Maximum upper age limit with relaxation: 45 years.
