- Nature of Engagement: The engagement is purely an internship programme for one year only, funded through NCDC. It shall neither be construed as an appointment/employment nor an assurance of employment.
- Tenure: One year only. The overall scheme is valid for 3 years.
- Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated), reimbursed from Cooperative Education Fund, Ministry of Cooperation through NCDC. TA/DA will be provided by StCBs/DCCBs from their own funds.
- Leave: Interns may avail 10 days Casual Leave (CL) per year. No other leaves will be granted except ‘Leave without remuneration’. Holidays as applicable to the respective StCB/DCCBs.
- Roles & Duties: Coordinate with PACS and primary cooperatives; solve day-to-day problems in computerization, business plans, projects, financing issues, approvals; prepare and share weekly status reports.
- Confidentiality: Interns must maintain confidentiality of all documents, reports, and information received during the internship. Violation will entail legal consequences.
- Social Media: No intern shall interact with or represent the Bank to the media (print/electronic/social media) without express permission from the competent authority.
- Termination: Internship may be discontinued at any time without payment of any financial benefit if performance is unsatisfactory or the intern is absent without authorization.
- Nodal Agency: NCDC will administer the scheme; NABARD will monitor implementation; StCBs will execute the scheme.
