Recruitment Type: Deputation (including Short-Term Contract/ISTC/Re-employment for Armed Forces Personnel) and Absorption

Period of Deputation: Shall ordinarily not exceed three years (including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment).
Age Limit: Maximum 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications (25 Aug 2026).
Re-employment: Armed Forces personnel (JCOs of Army or equivalent of Navy/Air Force or above) due to retire or to be transferred to reserve within one year and possessing requisite qualifications/experience are also eligible for consideration.
Service Conditions: Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India. They will normally serve in units under administrative control of respective Command HQs but can be posted anywhere in India as per administrative requirements.
Absorption: Employees seeking absorption will join with zero seniority in new units.
Multiple Applications: Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate application forms for each post. Multiple applications against a single post will be summarily rejected.
