Selection Procedure

Stage 1: Online Examination (Computer Based Test – CBT)
- 100 Multiple Choice Questions based on minimum qualification syllabus of respective group.
- Duration: 2 Hours.
- Group A (10th Pass) Subjects: English & GK (25), Physics (25), Chemistry (25), Mathematics (25).
- Group B (ITI Pass) Subjects: English & GK (25), Trade Theory (25), Workshop Calculation & Science (25), Engineering Drawing (25). *For COPA: 75 questions from Trade Theory & 25 from English & GK.
- Group C (8th Pass) Subjects: English & GK (25), Physics (25), Chemistry (25), Mathematics (25).
- Exam Centres: Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad), Nagpur, Latur, Kolhapur, Nashik. Candidates may choose 2 preferred centres.
Stage 2: Document Verification & Trade Allotment
- Candidates securing maximum marks (group & category wise) in online exam will be called.
- Original documents for age, caste, educational qualification must be submitted.
- Trade allotment for Group A & C candidates based on merit order and availability of vacancies.
- Candidate must fill Contract Registration in presence of parent/guardian after trade selection.
Stage 3: Medical Examination

Other Important Information
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years relaxation in upper age limit.
- OBC: 3 years relaxation.
- Divyang (PwD): 10 years relaxation.
Reservation:
- Women applicants will be given 30% horizontal reservation in selection.
- Reservation for PwD is horizontal within overall vacancies (minimum 40% disability, certified by Medical Board).

Important Notes:
- ITI Passed candidates are NOT eligible for Group A & C. If found at any stage, candidature will be rejected.
- One applicant can apply for both Group A & C but must submit separate application forms for each group.
- OBC candidates must submit valid Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate along with caste certificate.
- School Leaving Certificate or Birth Certificate will NOT be accepted as proof of caste.

- Monthly stipend will be credited via ECS to candidate’s savings bank account. No cheque will be issued.
