Selection will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma, calculated according to the procedure followed by the concerned university or institution.
CGPA/Grade Conversion:
If grades or CGPA are awarded instead of percentage marks, conversion will be carried out according to the procedure prescribed by the university or institution.
Tie-Breaking:
If two or more candidates obtain the same percentage of marks at the cut-off level, preference will be given to the older candidate based on date of birth.

- The apprenticeship training duration is 12 months.
- Training location: Neyveli, Tamil Nadu.
- Candidates must satisfy the specific eligibility group mentioned in the respective advertisement (L&DC/02/2026 for PAP category; L&DC/03/2026 for Employees and Contract Workmen category).
- Engineering, Non-Engineering Graduate and Technician (Diploma) candidates must have passed their qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
- The year-of-passing condition does not apply to ITI candidates.
- Candidates who have previously undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible.
- Candidates with one year or more of work experience are not eligible.
- Reservation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwBD candidates will be provided as per the Apprentices Act and applicable rules. OBC-NCL certificate must be valid from 1 April 2026.

- Completion of apprenticeship training does not give candidates any right to claim temporary or permanent employment with NLC India Limited.
