Other Important Information

  • Only Indian Nationals belonging to the state of Odisha are eligible to apply.
  • The period of apprenticeship training shall be one year (12 months).
  • OPTCL will pay 50% stipend to Degree Engineering, Diploma Technician, and Degree Non-Engineering Apprentices; the remaining 50% will be paid by BOPT through DBT.
  • Candidates who have completed Apprenticeship training or have job experience of one year or more are NOT eligible to apply.
  • Candidates appearing for the requisite qualifying examination are NOT eligible to apply.
  • The gap between the date of joining in Apprenticeship Training and passing date of essential qualifying examination should not be more than 3 years; passed during Academic Year 2023-24, 2024-25 & 2025-26.
  • Candidates must have registered at NAPS/NATS portal and bank account must be seeded with Aadhaar Number for DBT.
  • Apprenticeship training will be provided at different units and offices of OPTCL spread across Odisha. No accommodation or allowance will be provided.
  • No TA/DA/Other expenses will be paid for attending Document Verification/Interview.
  • Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment with OPTCL.
  • Number of vacancies against each trade/discipline may change (increase or decrease) as per the requirement of the corporation.
