Selection Procedure

- Written Examination: An Objective Type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) written examination will be conducted for all successfully applied candidates.
- Merit List: The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written examination.
- Negative Marking: There will be negative marking. Each question carries 1 mark and 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Tie-Breaking: In case of equal merit, the following criteria will be applied in order: (1) Date of Birth (older candidate gets preference), (2) Percentage in required educational qualification, (3) Marks in Matriculation.
- Counselling/Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted based on merit will be called for counselling and document verification. Only candidates found fully eligible after counselling will be recommended to the concerned department.
